Penelope K: Consistently, Unsure, United States; Lo & I began our friendship back in 2006, randomly paired as UCONN roommates. Both totally different, we clicked. Ever since then, we have gone through some absolutely wild times. When we graduated in 2008, Lo instantly began her professional nursing career, working long and off-beat hours. I landed a stressful and fast-paced job at a hedge fund in CT. Both moving forward in our careers, but without much fullfillment, we realized we needed a change. There was too much to do in the world, and with nothing to hold us back, we decided to take a leap of faith in not knowing what tomorrow would bring. Thanks to travel nursing, a program that places nurses to work anywhere in the country (free rent included!), Lo dreamed of moving across country to CA. I, dealing with a boss from hell, knew this was my chance to start over. So here we are, ready to pack up and go. We will be driving across country in one car, changing locations every 6-13 weeks, and visiting the roads less traveled in between. We have agreed to partake in every absurdity that life throws our way, and this blog is our proof. Get ready for the journey of a lifetime...
